After a busy day, here’s what happened in the tea and coffee industry:

In December 2025, among the top ten tea beverage brands by national store count, Auntea Jenny launched the most new products—10 in total. ChaBaiDao introduced 9 new items, CoCo Fresh Tea & Juice launched 6, while HeyTea and YiHeTang each released 4. For the first time in nearly four months, CHAGEE launched 3 new products.

Throughout 2025, sales of coffee machines on Tmall grew by nearly 25%, with coffee grinder sales surging over 100%. Nearly 10 emerging brands achieved sales exceeding 10 million CNY, with an average growth rate of over 300%. The international coffee machine brand De’Longhi revealed that the proportion of consumers aged 18–24 in the Chinese market has significantly increased this year.

Today, GoodMe relaunched its upgraded “Big Orange” series, featuring Hand-Peeled Big Orange Pieces and Bursting Fresh Fruit Cups. The products primarily use Ponkan citrus, combined with ingredients like lemon, strawberry, and jasmine tea. On the same day, ChaBaiDao reintroduced its upgraded mulberry series, launching Active Bacteria·Mulberry Yogurt Smoothie and Midnight Black, which feature mulberries as the main ingredient, paired with yogurt or jasmine tea.

Today, according to “informed sources,” CHAGEE is considering a listing in Hong Kong. In response, CHAGEE stated to the media that there are currently no such plans. On the same day, CHAGEE released its 2025 review: over the past year, its stores have expanded to 8 countries across 2 continents, with annual tea procurement reaching a 10,000-ton scale. The brand sources from all six major tea categories and key Pu’er tea regions, collaborating with over 100 tea factories.

Recently, M Stand Market’s first concept store in Shenzhen opened at MixC World MXTR Block. This concept store not only offers the brand’s specialty coffee but also sells a range of denim-themed merchandise.

Recently, the Shanghai General Manager of Luckin Coffee stated that the brand “will definitely deepen its roots and continue developing in Shanghai.” He mentioned that the market access facilitation measures introduced in Shanghai in 2025 have provided tangible benefits to businesses. Currently, Luckin Coffee operates over 1,600 stores in Shanghai, with 267 new stores opened in the city in 2024 alone. In the third quarter of 2025, Luckin Coffee’s total net revenue reached 15.287 billion CNY, with nearly 30,000 stores nationwide.
