






New tea beverage store landscape remained stable in December 2025. Mixue Ice Cream & Tea (excluding Lucky Cup and overseas stores) leads with 44,495 existing stores. GoodMe (excluding overseas stores) and Auntea Jenny also have over ten thousand stores each. ChaPanda has 8,178 stores, while CHAGEE and YH.Tang both surpassed 7,000 stores. TianLala and Shuyi Shuyi tealicious are at the 5,000-store level.

Today, CHAGEE launched its new drink “Shanyue Nuonuo”山月糯糯” ,featuring ingredients like coconut water, matcha, and Yunnan sticky rice-scented green tea. The product will be available in six stores nationwide, with some locations offering a traditional tea-whisking experience.

In its 2025 annual “Small Moments” report released today, Heytea announced it has opened over 100 stores across 32 cities overseas, becoming the new tea beverage brand with the widest global presence. Heytea also revived its long-paused “DP Plan,” opening the Chengdu Chunxi Road “Stacked Courtyard” store and renovating more than 130 existing stores to create distinctive tea beverage spaces.

Recently, the Lucky Cup flagship store in Zhengzhou introduced hand-brewed coffee priced between 10 to 16 CNY, sparking discussions online. Reactions ranged from supportive posts and curiosity to skepticism.

Yesterday, the acquisition of equity in Starbucks Coffee (Cayman) Holdings Ltd. by Boyu Capital Fund V, L.P. entered the public disclosure phase. Boyu Capital Fund V plans to acquire 60% of Starbucks Cayman’s shares.

According to media reports, on January 22, DQ opened a new store at Shanghai’s iAPM Mall, marking the brand’s expansion beyond ice cream into coffee, handcrafted cakes, and afternoon tea offerings.
